You're probably experiencing an increase in your heart rate right about now. You've come to our site and it looks totally different. Are you at the right spot? Where is your account?? What about your previous orders??? Punch Card???? AAAACCCCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!
This little primer is here to help ease your way into this new and quite fabulous website. I think you'll find all your questions answered here but if not, please
contact us and we'll get right back to you with the answer.
Coming from the old Glutenada website?
You are in for a real treat. This new site is fully featured and gives you far more options and abilities as a customer than the old site did.
The most obvious change is the design and the fact that you are now required to create an account before ordering. This is easily done and more information on this can be found using the "account" link in the menu above.
Having an account will allow you to track your order, view past orders, and participate in our Punch Card program. For every mix or jar of Spoonfudge ordered, you'll receive a "punch" on your card. Once you've purchased 12 items, you'll get one item of your choosing for free!
Another great change is the ability to order Spoonfudge at the same time as you order one of our mixes. Spoonfudge is only available for a few short days each month so if you order mixes at the same time as Spoonfudge, all items will ship out when that batch of Spoonfudge is shipped. This is typically 2.5 weeks after the order window.
We hope that you enjoy our new and improved site. We think you'll find shopping to be a more pleasurable experience and we welcome the opportunity to serve you even better than before.
Coming from the old charssi site?
This change is likely quite shocking as the site looks completely different and has a different name. Glutenada is the parent company for Spoonfudge and we decided to do away with the charssi name and bring everything together under one umbrella. Along with this comes new labels, a new formulation (trans-fat free!) and the ability to also order our gluten-free mixes at the same time you order your Spoonfudge.
You're probably freaking out about your Punch Card, right? No worries! Believe it or not, this site is the exact same site as the old charssi site and has just undergone a significant makeover. As a result, your account information remains the same, your Punch Card has the same number of punches as before the makeover, and the checkout process will be the same as before. It just looks different - that's all!
If you're ordering one of our mixes at the same time as the Spoonfudge, please note that the mixes will ship with the Spoonfudge and therefore won't be going out until the ship date for the fudge. Please plan accordingly when ordering if you're needing mixes before the Spoonfudge ship date.
The Order Windows will continue on as before. Newsletter subscribers will still be notified first and the entire process will remain the same for the time being. We are looking at running the windows more often, but this is coming in the future.
Other information you'll need to know...
Nutritional Information: As promised in the last charssi newsletter, Spoonfudge will be shipping out with nutritional information on the labels. We're just a bit behind on getting this onto the site (it took a lot of work to get this new look finished!) so you'll have to wait until next week before we get this loaded and ready for viewing. Nutritional information for our gluten-free mixes will also be available soon as well.
Newsletters: In the past, we had 2 newsletters. One for charssi and one for Glutenada. These have been combined into one mailing list (Glutenada) but rest assured, we won't be spamming you. We send out 1 newsletter (on average) per month for charssi and 1 newsletter every 2-3 months for Glutenada. This means that old Glutenada subscribers will be receiving a monthly newsletter and charssi subscribers won't notice any changes.
Missing Pages: We have several new pages coming soon. These include recipes, mix tips, nutritional information, and more. These should be added soon - thank you for your patience as we work to get this finished up.
