Allergy Statement

Cherie, the owner of Glutenada, suffers from Celiac Disease and has multiple food allergies. As a result, we are obsessive about making sure all allergens are clearly noted and any cross-contamination is avoided.

Mixes: We have recently reformulated our mixes to be dairy-free (with a few exceptions) and are looking for a baking powder that will get the job done without cornstarch. Any corn or dairy containing mixes are blended in separate processors and are done after mixes not containing that ingredient are finished and sealed shut. The entire line is wiped down and thoroughly cleaned between batches.

Spoonfudge: At this time, the only actual peanut-free product is the plain Chocolate flavor (see note below). We are working to source out a white chocolate that meets our quality standards and once we locate this, all varieties (except Chocolate Peanut Butter) will finally be peanut free!
A note about the chocolate used in our Spoonfudge: The chocolate chips we use come from a factory that is peanut free BUT does run peanut containing items around the holidays. The plant is shut down on Friday, completely cleaned, and the peanut products are run on the weekend. The plant is then shut down again and the entire line completely decontaminated. The company has personally assured me that they consider their chips to be peanut-free, but I am leaving it up to you to decide if this is an OK item for you or your peanut intolerant loved one. Please do not order this if you have any hesitation whatsoever. Better to be safe!
