I don't need gluten-free items but your description peaked my interest and I must say these are the BEST brownies I have ever eaten.

They are dense, moist and not too sweet. They look exactly like the picture on the website when baked. I did not add nuts but instead added 1 cup of coffee chips to half the pan for variety. I baked them in the evening & covered them with saran wrap. We cut them the next morning (brownies for breakfast anyone?) and they are flawless.

I just can't say enough good things about your products. We are looking forward to trying some of the other mixes. Your spoonfudge is already a monthly reorder.

Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Brownies

This is the mix that made my family and friends urge me to start selling. The brownies I'd had up to creating these were invariably gritty and dry or very oddly textured. Nothing like the brownies of my youth. I remembered and wanted brownies that would crackle on top. Brownies that are super-chocolaty and super-decadent. Brownies that are chewy yet melt away. I'm proud to announce that these brownies fulfill these demands. They are incredibly delicious and can be served to anyone, regardless of their Gluten-Free status.

Of the numerous people we've had test these, only a few knew that there was something "different" about them. These are as good as, or better than, their gluten-containing counterparts. And with loads of chocolate chips, you're sure to get your chocolate fix!

Keep a gallon of milk on hand. These are awesome with a tall glass of ice cold milk. And if you have the willpower, our brownies are even better on the second day. For most folks, they're gone long before that time rolls around, though!

* Regarding possible peanut traces in this product. The chocolate chips we use come from a factory that is peanut free BUT does run peanut containing items around the holidays. The plant is shut down on Friday, completely cleaned, and the peanut products are run on the weekend. The plant is then shut down again and the entire line completely decontaminated. The company has personally assured me that they consider their chips to be peanut-free, but I am leaving it up to you to decide if this is an OK item for you or your peanut intolerant loved one. Please do not order this if you have any hesitation whatsoever. Better to be safe!

Directions


• 1 cup melted shortening
• 4 eggs

Add contents of bag to large mixing bowl. Add shortening and 4 eggs, mix until smooth. Mixture will be thick.

Pat into greased 13x9 pan and bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes. Do NOT overbake. Let sit 1 hour before cutting.

Add 1 cup chopped nuts, if desired, for extra crunch and flavor.

These brownies get better with age. They are simply fab the second day - assuming they last that long!

Rice flour, tapioca flour, xanthan gum, unflavored gelatin, sugar, chocolate chips (sugar, chocolate, cocoa butter, milkfat, soy lecithin, vanillin-an artificial flavor, natural flavor), natural cocoa, baking powder (corn starch, bicarbonate of soda, sodium aluminum sulfate, acid phosphate of calcium), sea salt, vanilla powder.
